As much as I love Altair and Ezio, I am also quite fond of Desmond Miles. After all, he is the one in the Animus. I just really like his personality because he reminds me of myself. It almost feels like he doesn’t get enough attention. He would make an awesome older brother or even a friend. I also don’t like the fact that Lucy tries to boss him around so much, but whatever. Desmond is awesome.

I do not see the point in arguing over whether Ezio is better than Altair or if Altair is better than Ezio. Unlike most people, I do not prefer either assassin over the other. I love them both and believe each of the two to be incredible assassins. They are certainly in my top ten list of my favorite videogame characters, and I am fond of both for different reasons.

The Frustrations of the first Assassin’s Creed
Dear Altair,
You are an amazing assassin and are an incredible free runner. You saved the human race from being enslaved and you’re capable of jumping off those ridiculous viewpoints into a pile of hay without breaking any bones. You fight unlike any like other and know how to take care of business when it needs to be done. However, I wish that you would learn how to swim because drowning every five seconds at the docks is annoying.
